About Studio Raton
Studio Raton’s mission is to create beautiful and playful objects inspired by urban themes. Its product line ranges from serious topics like cartography to a more whimsical world filled with charming animals.
The studio is the result of a creative partnership between André Neveu and Olivier Gratton-Gagné, a Montreal-based duo passionate about illustration and design.
The story began in 2012 under the name iLikeMaps, when Olivier developed a fascination with maps. Everything caught his eye—from the iconic STM transit map to family road trip maps and the large vinyl maps from school history and geography classes.
During a one-year stay in Leeds, UK, the idea of starting a creative business took shape, and the first iLikeMaps designs were born.
Since the very first sale on August 26, 2012, the company has steadily grown, expanding its product range to include posters, cushions, bags, and special collaborations with other artisans.
In 2024, Olivier teamed up with André to take the project further. The mission expanded beyond cartography to include new artists and fresh ideas. To reflect this new reality, a new brand was launched: Studio Raton—a name that captures the studio’s creative and collaborative spirit.
